The Yin and Yang of the Big Bang

Good & Bad Night & Day

The Yin and Yang of the Big Bang

From nothing, a whisper, a silent spark,

A breath of chaos in the endless dark.

The cosmos split, a dance began,

A pulse of fire, the birth of man.

One half raged with storm and sea,

Rolling waves of eternity.

Mountains rose, the oceans swayed,

A world of light and life was made.

The other swirled in shadow deep,

Stars that burned, yet seemed to sleep.

Galaxies spun in endless flight,

Holding secrets veiled in night.

Two forces bound yet torn apart,

A universe with a beating heart.

Creation and ruin, hand in hand,

The ebb, the flow, the great expand.

No end, no start, just endless change,

The yin, the yang, the Big Bang’s flame.

This was how it all began,

The universe and the story of man

Almost had me humming the theme from the Big Bang Theory sitcom. Good job.
