Brighter Days Ahead
The yellow of daffodils and marigolds and sunflowers
The yellow of sunshine on your face
The yellow of stars in the night sky
The yellow that promises there are brighter days ahead
We’ve come far
But we’re not done yet
We’re on our way to brighter days
Days where we can leave our anxieties behind
Days where we can laugh and love and connect
The yellow promises there are brighter days ahead
We’re on our way to brighter days
But we’re not there yet
So we’ll start to sing again
To dance again
To write again
Until we stumble upon the yellow that brings the days we’ve been waiting for
The days we’ve been longing for
The days we’ve been putting in the work day in and day out for
Brighter days are here

The Tango Connection
I suppose I've become a writer so I wouldn't bore everyone to death telling them my stories. Reading them is reading. Not the same. There's rhythm. And timing and, most importantly, drama and suspense. Unless you have tremendous magnetism and an undeniable stage presence, there's no way you can engage an audience the way you can by writing your story. That's my opinion.
