The World Within

you burn, you ground, you sway, and you feel

By Lindsey RussellPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

YOU BURN:

ablaze in black ash

you are on fire in a sea

yesterday bleeds raw.

YOU GROUND:

vacant in a void

glimmers of summer shine gold

emerald life blooms.

YOU SWAY:

brushed breeze grows wild

cheeks kissed with wind sails

swaying kites ride free.

YOU FEEL:

angry cold and vast

bright blue shifts sight and eyes

rising tides grow old.
