The world has lost its colors
And all that's left is grey
The sky no longer seems to be
A beautiful blue display
The birds no longer sing their song
And the flowers no longer bloom
The laughter that once filled the air
Has now become a distant tune
The days now seem so endless
The nights so dark and cold
The world that once was vibrant
Now feels so empty and old
The tears flow like a river
As I mourn what's been lost
The pain that grips my heart
Seems too great to exhaust
Oh, how I wish for brighter days
For happiness and cheer
But now all that's left is sadness
And a heart that's full of fear.
