The World Has Gone Black.

a nature poem

By T. LichtPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

The fields flow with flowers.

The trees offer their bowers.

The sun smiles at saunters the sun-spread streets.

The winds enjoys its retreat.

A daffodil stem droops.

A cluster of leaves swoop.

A cloud dims the rays with a single wrench.

A wind restarts for revenge.

Thunder claps a drumroll.

Rain threatens to fall.

People frenzy forth and back furiously.

Lightening cracks mercilessly.

Oh, the world has gone black.

The hustle bustle beaten slack.

The fields they flow now with windfalls of water.

The trees, I comfort, will grow faster.
