The words of yesterday.
A type of love that was love at first sight but dwindled to burning embers over time.

I wept upon the moonlit barrow
Shone upon the valley narrows
I searched for you
In all the morrows
But alas, you hid amongst the shadows
The moon cried out
For the sun to shine
Yet I still yearned,
For the divine.
The wolves had howled,
For the moon to stay.
Yet I still search for you amongst the day.
Why must you be so hard to find?
Why can't you simply be mine?
I longed for all there is to love
A valley separating both of us
My tears, they dry
And so I hang
The words I left in yesterday.
