The Wonder Years

a poem

By Mark GrahamPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Childhood,

time of wondering and asking

questions.

Looking for answers

are we finding any

we are not sure,

What do we do;

ask silly questions,

seek out friends,

ask parents, maybe.

Always wondering what is around

the next corner.

Try, try and try again.

Success or failure

that depends.

Growing up and going away

is hard, but it is one thing

that we have to do to keep going.

Seeking,

Wondering,

Letting go and keeping some,

Memories will come and go

thinking.

It is time.

This was a phenomenal show that addressed so many important topics. It was also one of my children's favorite TV shows. I wish reruns ran in syndication.
