The Wolf Poetry Contest
Contest winner prizes are being mailed and delivered today
Our Poem a Day in February (PaDiF) starts tomorrow
I was able to borrow
a wolf photo from an artist, I know
that looked like the photo above and below
~
Our first week contest will be for the best freestyle
I will share some with you, along with some other style
On the eighth of every month we rhyme,
so week two will be rhyme. this time.
~
I couldn't decide the winners for the wolf contest
so I recruited a helper to do that, and to test
her out as a possible helper with PaDiF
She passed the test, and we got into some mischief
~
Deciding what this February will look like and how
to run this month, and holy cow
I can't wait, to see the talent covered from our forces.
The prizes have come in from unexpected sources.
~
Should be a very fun run
Stay tuned. I'm enjoying the sun
today, and it gave me the energy
to get some writing done. Looking forward to the synergy
that will happen with the two of us at the wheel
And remember - writing helps us to heal!

Author's note: I love that I am getting January taken care of today to have a fresh start on February. It is great that I was able to finish one project in January. My decluttering has taken a back seat for now. But there will be a time to take a bow. I have learned how, and the timing is just not now.
