Oh, gentle moon, how you light up the sky,

A silver orb, so distant and high.

Your radiance shines, so calm and serene,

A beacon of hope, in a world so mean.

You wax and wane, in a rhythmic dance,

A symbol of life, of fate and chance.

In your crescent form, you seem to smile,

A heavenly wonder, so rare and worthwhile.

Your glow illuminates, the darkest of nights,

A companion to all, in your graceful flights.

You inspire poets, with your ethereal beauty,

A muse for dreamers, seeking their destiny.

In your fullness, you awe and amaze,

A sight so majestic, it leaves us in a daze.

You pull the tides, with your magical power,

A force of nature, that we all honor.

Oh, gentle moon, how you capture our hearts,

A celestial wonder, that never departs.

May your light forever shine, in the depths of space,

A symbol of hope, for the human race.
