The Wheel Turns

A Poem

Being a witch isn’t always easy,

I have to trust myself each and every day.

To be my own safety and security.

And let my intuition guide me.

So when my cards tell me,

To go with the flow, and be flexible.

I sigh and say okay,

And watch my current life slip away.

As thinks begin to change again,

The wheel turns over and over,

And what was solid becomes unsteady.

Be flexible and go with the flow.

And well I keep this mantra in my head,

I feel my heart rearing it’s ugly head.

Because it wants an easy life,

But my soul demands lessons to be learned.

And so as the wheel keeps on,

And my comfort slips away,

I force myself to learn a new way,

To give myself some sanity.
