The Weight of Wonder

A seed of life, unseen, unknown,
Within me now, it’s slowly grown.
A quiet flutter, a gentle stir,
The pulse of life, a whispered word.

The nights stretch long, the days so near,
A future bright, yet tinged with fear.
My body bends, my soul expands,
To hold the life within my hands.

Each moment blooms, a fleeting grace,
A tiny heart in sacred space.
My breath aligns with rhythm new,
As I become not one, but two.

The weight of wonder, joy, and ache,
A bond so strong it cannot break.
With every kick, with every turn,
A mother’s heart begins to learn.

The world grows wide, yet narrows too,
For all my thoughts now lead to you.
The path ahead is steep and wide,
But I will walk with love as guide.

So here I stand, in awe, in glow,
With life inside, I gently grow.
