The Weight of Light
Learning to Release What We Carry

We carry our shadows
like stones in our pockets,
each one a memory,
a regret, a wish
we forgot to let go of.
But sometimes,
the sun finds us—
not in grand gestures,
but in quiet moments:
a stranger’s smile,
a cup of coffee steaming,
the way the wind hums
through the trees,
reminding us
we are not alone.
Light is not always blinding;
it can be soft,
a whisper that says,
“You are enough.”
So let the stones fall,
one by one,
until your hands are empty
and your heart is full.
The world is heavy enough—
you don’t have to be.
