The Weather

Poem By John Matthews

By John Matthews Published 4 years ago 1 min read

The cold dark winter has come

The cold wind starts to blow

The snow flurries fall down

The river just flows

The rain starts to freeze

The air starts to move

The sun comes up to warm us

The sun starts to set

The night now has come

The stars start to twinkle

The sky is all clear

The waters are calm

The clouds soft as cotton

The grass is green

The air is fresh and new

The sound is soft and quiet

The word is passed and told on through

The weather will change tomorrow
