Who goes where, and what can say?

Old guard’s come to heroically slay.

Nilbogs gnash with their kinder in a family way,

A primal force beneath light of day.

***

With ebon mouths consuming insight,

Marching united, whip-cracks through the night.

With pre-determined odds, their cthonic kingdoms rise,

Bringing naught but tainted gods and dangerous lies.

***

From the menage of bodies erupts twisted grace,

Unholy goblins gleap as they writhe in fire's embrace.

Cunning minds give birth to treacherous art,

Khaos breaks as the waves of flesh part.

***

Killing the vibe, harshing the mellow,

Coordinating in silence from fellow to fellow.

Under the cover of deftly summoned rain,

Fascist forces look to spread pain.

***

Beyond the ember-lit orcish lair,

Trolls watch an arrogant wizard's tower erupt in the air.

Mystic runes cascade in a shower of light,

Thunderous fireworks blink in the night.

***

With staffs holding mighty, wielding power untold,

With grimacing whispers the Truths still unfold.

Cast now your gaze at the reptiles outside,

Formed into squadrons against magic tide.

***

Armored scales glinting, those stealthy raccoons,

Winged beasts wheel, watched by the moon.

Their foes claim wisdom beyond their share,

To harness magic and strip the world bare.

***

Flame of Du’wain, draconic chant,

Against the wizard’s laconic rant.

Digging deep in the soul’s underground,

Beyond hope of home lies fertile ground.

***

From the lips of the wizard spat a babbling brook,

From the lips of the dragon licked flames that could cook!

Besmirched and besieged, by hook and by crook,

The wizard and dragon exchange all-knowing look.

***

As our tale unfolds, in these verses twain,

While orcs and goblins exploit wild terrain.

Wizards fight dragons over rights to soar,

A reflection of fantasy forevermore.
