Tattered, torn

Hands

Covered in filth

His face

Wrinkled and worn

With brown eyes

That bore the weight

Of a lifetime

Struggles and pain

The stories he could tell

If only

Someone would stop

To listen to his tales

Of yonder year

And present day

If only
