They said, get out of your head

You can't live a life full of regret

But for the choices I made

A debt needs to be paid

Or I'm as worthless as he always said.

*

See, that's the problem with living a lie

You pay for another ones crime

They don't care how you feel

Come on, you've got to be real

You're just wasting your valuable time

*

I'm doing better now, than before

I don't wish for death anymore (for him :))

I still kind of keep to myself

Keep my heart on a shelf

In a box with a lock on the door

*

I remember when life was a breeze

The days moved quickly, with ease

I am getting that back

There's just one thing I lack

The ability to sneeze and not pee

*

I wrote this limerick to show

No matter how your life goes

Through the good and the bad

You still need a good laugh

Ignoring your mental health - really blows
