Unknown thoughts

While darkness envelopes the night

Even darker still can darkness envelope the mind

An event the owl watches from the line

The owl listens

To a man's sobs

But hears not

The owl only understands the what in a swinging knot

The man so self absorbed

Only sees his past

The owl only watches

As the man drops and breathes his last

The ground becomes soaked

The owl knows he can't hunt tonight

So the owl

Begins to fly

And the owl ponders

Who decides

When I die

fact or fiction
