The Umbrella

A poem

We were caught in the storm

Not knowing if the end was in sight

We were trapped waiting

For the rain to stop

Huddled together trying to keep warm

Huddled together trying to keep dry

Not wanting to leave eachothers side

We would survive this storm

Under the comfort of our umbrella
