The Two Headed Beast Within…

The price of desire

By Kenneth cruzPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Stoic thoughts and solitude seem the only solution

If I care then devastation surely finds it way near

Let your emotions die; their only good advice

Every time I try, I get close to the prize only to meet tragic demise

Never ending cycles of disappointment and dissatisfaction on repeat

Cannibalistic thoughts consume me, my desire for greatness eats at me like a two headed beast

Each moment feels a little to late, and it feels like my dreams of love and to be great have both escaped

This is very well written. Those emotions, sometimes they're more trouble than good, aren't they?
