The Truth Speaks

Slavery is the

Epitome of

The violation

Of rights. Therefore, it

Cannot be said that

It is of the great

Capitalistic

System. Consider

The tobacco and

Indigo and the

Cotton that grew up

From the soil like

Fresh Earth births, that spoke

Of plight. Why do you

Think that so many

Spirituals say

Words about flight? The

Master could not make

The money, so he

Relied on the backs

Of the Blacks, and those

Indentured browns, whites,

Yellows and reds who

Don’t fill the pages

Of the history

Books. So the juice from

The cash crops fueled the

Economy? I

Reject that notion.

While this specious claim

Continues to seep

Into the thoughts of

The children of the

United States and

The world, we ought to

Realize that the

Slaves who worked the lands

Of America

Never got to see

The fullness of the

System which stands for

Justice. The truth speaks.
