THE TREE

The Tree

By Eddie HeathPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The tree has come of age

It's branches are starting to break

Brought forth thru by faith

Raised by righteousness and wisdom

Not divided within itself it grew straight

It secretes sap through its layers

Those too are starting to shed

It ages gracefully, As if never lacking

Milk, meat, honey or bread

At the height of its glory

Its spindles are still green

With branches pointing in every direction

Like a telescope for sights to be seen

It stands as if manifested

With no use for itself

But to glorify the one who put it there

The tree stands in awe of itself

The planter must have known

That the wildlife would be in need

On that day he faithfully broke the ground

And planted that seed
