The treasure within my heart.

Dearest thing I desire most, place where my heart would reside,

A thing so distant from my reach, yet close where I confide,

The deepest thing above all things, a love that would not relent,

My time invested with you alone, the greatest time I’ve spent,

A fire burns within my heart, a candle light, a flame,

That scorns any darkness, that would try to shift the blame,

Dearest thing I desire most, dwell with me forevermore,

The thing I yearn for each day, my heart would then adore,

Lead me not astray to what cannot satisfy me most,

Be faithful in your diligence, like a watchmen at his post,

Like a lions boldness in the pridelands, As an ox steadfast towards his allotted keep,

Like an eagles boasts as lightning cackles, As a man's heart would mourn and weep,

To this thing I desire most, a place where my heart shall confide,

Let me dwell within your presence, where my heart truly shall reside.
