if you are the moon

light in the darkness

then I am the ocean

ever pulled to you

/

if I am the ocean

angry and endless

then you are the stars

shining beneath my surface

/

if you are the moon

and the stars and the sky

then I am the ocean

destined to meet at your horizon

This is stunningly romantic and evocative. The imagery of the moon, ocean, and stars paints a cosmic love story, and the intertwining of their destinies feels both eternal and profound. Short, powerful, and brimming with emotion—a perfect tidal dance of words!
