The Thread of Time
The Dance of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

The past was once a day like this,
A moment, easy to miss.
Dreams once lived where you now stand,
Slipping away like grains of sand.
The future you long for, bright and new,
Waits patiently for its turn too.
But when it comes, it won't stay near,
It'll fade into memories year by year.
Today was once a wish you made,
A light in the dark a hope that stayed.
Now it's here, but it's moving fast,
Before you know it, it becomes the past.
Time never stops, it never rests,
It moves through heartbeats in your chest.
The joy, the sorrow, the rise, the fall,
Each moment whispers, "This is all."
The future will soon be yesterday,
And yesterday will drift further away.
But in between, where moments meet,
Is where life lives, both wild and sweet.
So hold this thread and don't let go,
Though where it leads you'll never know.
The past, the present, the future, too,
Are all the same - they flow through you.
