i asked the wind to move away the cover from the sky
the wind told me to move away the cover from my eye
"just howl the clouds away," i said, "envelop us in blue"
the wind told me "get on a boat and blue will surround you"
"you're saying that you'll drown me?" i asked the wind in fear
i realized when no reply was heard in either ear
how fragile my own life is and that death is close, always.
