The Things We Don't Talk About

And What Can Help

We all go through some stuff we do not like talking about. Toxic habits like smoking weed you cannot live without. Whether it is anxiety, depression, or a mental illness you haven't been diagnosed with yet, or maybe it is the reason why you keep giving yourself cancer by lighting up a cigarette.

We all go through some stuff we have to talk to a person about but depression is a conjoiner. Combining anxiety with insecurities, now they made a home in your head with no intentions to leave. If you think they will move out anytime soon, I call that disbelief.

Conceling your problems is so easy that even a professional revelator cannot reveal your profound insecurity. You let those voices in your head determine your worth, now you live with less purity.

Everyone wants to put their anxiety in a trash bag. Some people surrender to depression and raise a white flag. Some want peace, but they cannot get that peace. All we need is a hug, a little prayer, a little tug, and a reminder that we are not alone.

Do not tell me to go to a therapist. I do not want my illness to be known. A person who can help is God. Even though you are flawed, He can beat through the odds, and your imperfections will not matter. Even if He is in sight, you might feel like you are in the darkness instead of the light.

But what you feel is what you attract. As the son of Mary said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you, I do not give to you as the world gives, do not let your hearts be trouble and do not be afraid."

There is no need to be afraid because the price of your sin has been paid. All you need to do is stay on the right path, with some prayer and faith. A little bit of my body loves me, so I have to love it back kind of thoughts. You will be healed in no time.

Tiny little words roam around in my head, shouting for an esacpe, a chance to be heard. So I let those words out by connecting ink to paper, but in this case, connecting pixels to the screen. Simple poems and stories get made. Stick around.
