We should hang out sometime,

When time is slow, when hands are warmed by cups of joe

Exchanging stories for the years passed and infectious laughs,

When your schedule opens,

I’d love to hang out, if even for a moment

It doesn't have to be a cafe,

It could be over the phone,

Or one of our homes,

It could be seaside,

Or a journey on an unmarked path

You call me a friend,

For that, I will always check in.
