The Tale of Three Men & the Enchanted Princess

The Poem

By Roni RisayPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
On a rainy day...

In days of old, a journey long,

Three skilled men did travel on.

A carpenter, a tailor, and a mage,

Their talents set them apart from the age.

As night approached, they made a stop,

Each took a turn to guard their crop.

The carpenter used his watchful eye,

And carved a statue to catch the sky.

The tailor, with his thread and needle,

Sought to cover the statue, make her regal.

In stunning dress, she shone so bright,

Her dignity upheld by his skillful might.

The mage, with magic from beyond,

Gave the statue life with a gentle wand.

As dawn arose, the three friends found,

Their hearts held captive, spellbound.

The princess, lovely beyond compare,

Had each man wanting to be her pair.

But who was deserving, who was true,

The answer came in clear view.

For the tailor, in his deeds so pure,

Had upheld the princess's honor and more.

He who dresses with dignity and grace,

Is the one who truly wins the race.

So let this tale be a lesson to all,

To always be ready to heed the call.

To uphold the dignity of women so fair,

And be a true and noble man, beyond compare...
