She was the sunrise that lit up his world,

A vision of beauty that left him twirled,

He watched her from afar, her smile so bright,

Wondering if she could ever be his light.

He longed to touch her, to hold her tight,

To feel the warmth of her skin against his own,

To taste the sweetness of her lips, to make her his own,

But he was just a stranger, and she was a dream.

Day by day, he watched her shine,

As she glided through life, so sublime,

He saw the way she moved, so free and wild,

And knew that he had to make her his child.

One day, he mustered up the courage to speak,

And in that moment, his heart skipped a beat,

He introduced himself, and she smiled so bright,

And in that instant, he knew he was in for a fight.

They started to talk, and he felt a connection,

As if they had known each other in another dimension,

He listened to her stories, her hopes and fears,

And he knew that she was the one he had been searching for all these years.

Slowly but surely, they fell in love,

Their hearts beating as one, like a pair of doves,

He held her close, and she felt so right,

As if they were meant to be together, all through the night.

He whispered sweet nothings in her ear,

And promised to love her, forever, my dear,

She smiled and kissed him, and he felt alive,

As if he had finally found his reason to strive.

They laughed and danced under the moonlit sky,

As the stars twinkled above, so high,

They knew that they were meant to be,

And they pledged their love for eternity.

Years went by, and they grew old and gray,

But their love remained as strong as it did on that first day,

They held hands and smiled, as they reminisced,

About the journey they had taken, and the love they had missed.

And as the sun set on their final day,

They knew that their love would never fade away,

For they had found each other, in this crazy game of life,

And had loved each other, through joy and strife.
