The Sunken Atlantis

Myth retold

Today, let us talk about Atlantis,

Not the one depicted in the movie called The Mermaids,

But, the sunken island, lost beneath the waves,

A place of mystery, where beauty still engraves.

Once a land of vibrant life and light,

Now hidden from our mortal sight.

The ocean's depths hold secrets untold,

A world of wonders, waiting to unfold.

Corals and creatures, colors so bright,

Dancing in the darkness, out of sight.

The sunken island, a forgotten place,

Where time stands still, in an eternal embrace.

Whispers of the past echo through the sea,

Tales of a land that used to be.

But in the depths, life continues to thrive,

Adapting and evolving, it will survive.

The sunken island may be lost to us,

But its spirit lives on, without a fuss.

So let us marvel at the mysteries below,

And respect the ocean's ebb and flow.

For in its depths, wonders abound,

A sunken island, forever profound.
