The Sunflower Pot On The Window Sill
Just a wishful thinking

On mere whims does my life moves one step at a time,
And in true despair do I let my thoughts out in rhymes.
A serene loneliness surrounds me and my dreams,
Not unwanted, but uncalled for, sharing a glimpse,
Of a morose morning amidst the pale sunshine,
And of an eerie midnight drive underneath starlight.
But often one finds welcome at strange doors untethered,
As you keep walking down roads in brown leather,
With flowers in hand, and a smile on your face,
The sunglasses on and you move with grace.
However, an act is a lie, and in lie lays the foundation of our misery,
And many lies I have lived, which come back to haunt me.
So I wake up to another blue sky and sunshine,
For another day and another princess to make mine,
And as the fiery sun peaks through the clouded hills
I put the Sunflower pot on the window sill.
