The Storks and The Crows

A Birdwatcher Song.

(A Birdwatcher Song)

The Storks and the Crows

Can't seem to make up their minds.

They fight, then form bands

With no show of hands.

Unfriendly friends

With bridges to mend,

Their obvious division

Unlikely to ever end.

The Stork is in charge

The Crow knows,

How long this will last

Forever, time shows.

For many moons now

The Storks and the Crows

Hid in plain sight

But now comes the light

And out goes the night.

A man who loves to watch the birds

Taught me how to watch them too

And told me to be careful

Of the Storks and the Crows because,

They are never up to any good.
