The stair case to hell
For give me lord Jesus. Take me back to the light

The stair case to hell
As I fell down the staircase, my hope seemed to fade,
Each echoing thud felt like choices I’d made.
The weight of my sorrow grew heavy and dark,
Each step pulling deeper, away from the spark.
But just as the darkness consumed all my will,
A whisper of something—so quiet, so still.
It grew like a murmur, then louder it cried,
A voice from within that refused to subside.
Rise now from your falling, you’ve stumbled, not gone,
The staircase may twist, but the climb carries on.
The shadows may linger, but light still remains,
Through struggle and hardship, you’ll break the chains.
And so, though I faltered, I reached for the hand,
The one deep inside me, to help me to stand.
Though the staircase was scary, the climb now begun,
I’d fallen to darkness—but rose toward the sun.

A poem that says that one can change for we may falter but can still be healed and head in the right direction. Good job.
