Midori, Verde, Vert

The color of the verdure we walked among that day, Mother.

The ones that brought you so much life.

Emerald were the dreams I had envisioned - of a life in which you would always be there.

Luscious and rich they were, the eyes with which I viewed the world.

Everything was so vivid then.

Ao, Azul, Paransaek

Deep sky blue overhead

Is what I would gaze up at, during days with you.

Pondering what secrets lie in that vast empyrean.

What does it hide from us?

Dressed in shades of ultramarine, you were as vibrant as your smile.

Baby blue were the flowers I put near your final resting place.

I still wonder what secrets the heavens hold, and I still look up and wonder if you are one of them.

Haiiro, Gris, Grigio

In limbo, playing hide and seek with my former self and who I was becoming.

Searching through the lost and found of my heart,

My hands became sooty from digging through the ashes.

Spiraling, spiraling

Shaking and swaying

Will I fade to gray, and reside within the sediment?

Aka, Roja, Vermelho

Just as the intensity of my feelings were too much to bear

And the crimson threatened to conquer my entire being

You entered my life, bringing your rose-colored honesty and your ruby kisses

Crimson is now the fire that burns endlessly in my soul.

Perpetually growing is the passion I possess for you, Lover.

Eternally blooming is the bougainvillea between my legs

And my love for you will flourish forevermore.

Murasaki, Violetti, Roxo

Brings me back to myself.

A mixture of all my ardor(red) and my sorrow(blue), consolidated into a single color.

I am made up of various hues of amethyst, violet and eggplant

The tone of my aura ebbs and flows with the complexity of my disposition.

Filled with emotion and feeling alive,

My stunning neon purple willpower drives me forward

Daring royal purple erupts forth from my soul

Until lavender serenity takes precedence once more.
