Chaos ensues, tail flicks wild
Nature's in, out game

Stuck in the gutter,
Mate chitters, begs for rescue,
Life's struggle revealed.
...
Human in panic,
Chasing squirrel to and fro,
Couch, a safe haven.
...
Gutter rescue made
Squirrel-free, reunited
Nature's harmony
...
Rabies scare subsides,
Squirrel's motive discovered,
Human laughs at self.
