The Sound of My Own Soul

Finding strength in silence and the courage to rise again.

By Soul WhispersPublished 20 days ago 1 min read

The night is long and the stars are cold,
Stories of silence are yet to be told.
I walked through the shadows of yesterday’s pain,
Searching for sunlight in the mi.ddle of rain.
The heart was broken, the pieces were small,
I thought I was lost, with no one to call.
But in the quiet, a whisper I found,
A strength deep inside, a beautiful sound.
It wasn't a hero, it wasn't a friend,
But the courage to start where I thought it would end.
For the scars that I carry are not marks of shame,
They are the maps of a soul that survived the flame.
Now I rise like the dawn, steady and bright,
Turning my darkness into my light.
I am whole, I am free, I am more than my fears,
The music of life is all that I hear..
