The Solitude

I desire the most

In quiet woods where shadows creep,
Beneath the boughs, in the silence deep,
The wind hums soft, a gentle tune,
While leaves fall slow beneath the moon.

The river speaks in hushed refrain,
As stars drip down like silver rain.
The world is still, the night profound,
Yet in this calm, no voices sound.

The whispering grass, the rustling trees,
The only friends in nights like these.
No footsteps near, no warmth to find,
But peace lies wrapped in the quiet mind.

In the solitude, I’ve come to know,
That sometimes stillness helps us grow.
Though hearts may ache and eyes may weep,
There’s beauty in the silent deep.

For in the lonely hours, I see,
The world speaks softly, just to me.
A bond with nature, firm and true,
In solitude, I'm born anew.

I'm just a lowly human
Looking for solace
Hope one day you can give me
The silence and solitude I desire at least.
