There was a time when I saw myself in your laughter,

When I found my reflection in the depth of your eyes.

But today, those same eyes feel unfamiliar,

As if punishing me in silence.

Unspoken Distances

I held your hand, believing

That this journey would last a lifetime.

But perhaps your heart wasn’t as stubborn as mine,

Willing to fight through every storm to stay together.

Your footsteps now avoid my shadow,

Your laughter no longer carries my name.

Your words feel formal, distant—

As if the strings of our hearts were never tied.

Echoes of Broken Promises

Do you remember that evening,

When you first said, "I will always be with you, no matter what"?

But today, that ‘always’ is buried under the dust of time,

And your voice no longer holds that promise.

That park bench where we once sat for hours,

Still stands there, but now it looks lonely.

That coffee shop where I held your hand and dreamed,

Now echoes without your name.

The Heart’s Final Plea

If only you turned back once,

If only you read the unspoken questions in my eyes...

Perhaps then, you would realize—

Love doesn’t just remain incomplete in stories.

Your pictures are still in my phone,

But I no longer have the courage to look at them.

Your letters are still tucked away in my drawer,

But I no longer have the strength to read them.

The Ashes of Love

Maybe love is not just about togetherness,

Sometimes, even the pain of separation is love.

I wish I could forget you,

But some wounds never heal.

I will not hold you back anymore,

I will not stand in your way with questions.

But if your heart ever aches like mine,

Just remember—

Someone still loves you with all their heart.
