Oh stars, sing us a lullaby tonight.
The dock’s lapse consists of summer shoreline.
Among breathing vessels I snuggle tight.
Above- Divine converse over fine wine,
As we humble servants hang on each word.
Still waters project cosmic ying and yang.
She hums a tune; any song we preferred.
After all these nights; we developed slang.
Tucked in with a kiss from mother sunshine.
These smiles pray witness to the swelled heart.
Surrounding sparks, we created a shrine.
We come to find out we’re counterpart.
We sleep as day completes its clockwork arc.
What wonderful secrets lay in the dark.
