What’s in the sky?
Yes, the darkened sky
Which under the night
Gives us but hope, nor a light
*
What’s in the sky?
Are there only stars?
Infinitely profound black.
Staring into my soul and heart
*
Bitter ashes in my eyes
Vanish dancing in the air
But the lonely, lonely sky
Doesn’t even seem to care
*
Under the starry night, we’re nowt.
It makes a trivial, petty thing.
Out of the pain that we perceive.
What would I do with sky without?
*********
I dare you to stare into the night sky, and increase your loneliness to the point it does not matter anymore.
