The True Measure of a Person

Your good deeds will not be remembered by others, but your faults will be greatly magnified. So, don't be sad when others say bad things about you. In the eyes of people who don't like you, it's useless no matter how good you do.

Don't be sad when others accuse you. People who don't understand you will still be wrong no matter how hard you try. The fish trusts the water so much, but the water boils the fish; the leaves trust the wind so much, but the wind blows them off.

Between people, it all depends on one heart; between love and love, it all depends on the truth. We know the autumn when the leaves fall, and we know our friends when we are in trouble. Life is not easy, but do it and cherish it.

This is such a heartfelt reminder. It’s true—no matter what, you can’t please everyone. Focus on being true to yourself and cherishing the connections that matter. Beautifully said!
