The Silent Scream

That silent scream from deep inside,

I reach, but still, the gap’s too wide.

Words fall short, they drift away,

Lost in things I cannot say.

I call across this empty space,

But echoes fade without a trace.

A bridge once strong, now cracked and worn,

Too far to cross, too far to mourn.

Memories rise like morning mist,

Moments lost but still exist.

Your laugh, your smile, they slip from sight,

Shadows swallowed by the night.

Yet I hold tight to fragile strands,

The ghost of touch, the brush of hands.

Through miles of silence, thick and deep,

These buried secrets still I keep.

In crowded rooms, I feel you near,

A whisper lost that I still hear.

Familiar scents, a fleeting sound—

Haunting traces all around.

And sometimes in the quiet dark,

I feel the pulse, a distant spark—

A glimmer faint, a hidden flame,

Calling out your silent name.

If I could bridge the space between,

And bring to life this muted scene,

I’d tell you all the words I hide,

The silent scream from deep inside.

But here I stand, a soul alone,

Chasing shadows, chasing stone.

And still I hope you somehow know,

The feelings I can’t let go.

Though silence grows, I hold on tight,

To whispers caught in endless night,

To dreams that wait on distant shores,

To words unspoken—I will be always yours.
