The Silent Play

A Tale of Existence in Fading Light

By Ezria Caelis.Published 11 months ago 1 min read
A stage we never chose, a script we never wrote—yet the play goes on.

The life is but a silent play,

where laughter drowns in disarray.

A script we never dared to write,

Yet we keep following through pain each night.

The moonlight hums, the river sighs,

But beauty fades where meaning dies.

Oh, how the sky is broad and deep,

Cradle fit for a dreamless sleep.

Yet here I stand without a care

Caged in poisoned air.

Waiting to fade into nothingness,

No trace of aliveness left to confess.
