A sentinel carved from ancient stone.

High above where eagles soar,
The mountain stands forevermore.
Its peaks touch clouds, its roots the earth,
A place of timeless, endless worth.
The wind howls loud, yet all is still,
A silence deep, a peaceful thrill.
The rocks have watched a thousand years,
Through sunlit days and stormy tears.
No words are spoken, yet all is heard,
In nature’s quiet, silent word.
The mountain stands, unmoved, alone,
A sentinel carved from ancient stone.
