The air hangs heavy, thick with unspoken words,

A cold of silence, woven with unheard

A final glance, a fleeting touch, a sigh,

The echoes of goodbye, as tears well in my eye.

No grand pronouncements, no dramatic scenes,

Just a slow, quiet fade, like fading dreams.

The heart remembers you, though lips may not confess,

A silent farewell, a bittersweet cares.

The space between us widens, mile by mile,

But the memory lingers, a bittersweet smile.

Though words may fail, the heart still understands,

The unspoken goodbye, etched in the sands.
