The Silencing of Words

Can you hear beyond that silence. Some people can ?

The Silencing of Words

Can you hear the silencing of words.

Nothing spoken, nothing heard?

No whispers, no soft replies,

Just quiet air and empty skies.

Thoughts stay hidden, never said,

Lingering softly in my head.

Silence holds a secret sound,

A quiet voice that still is found.

Can you hear the silencing of words,

When nothing moves and nothing stirs?

Can you hear the silencing of words,

A quiet louder than the birds?

Though nothing’s said, it still remains,

A silent song that speaks of pain.

I can’t hear a thing, I know you hear them

If not imagination can go a long way

That’s if the wording is perfectly right

Ear them, see them, feel them, eat them.
