The Silence of Loneliness

Loneliness is not emptiness,

It is the mirror in which the soul is seen properly.

The loneliness that is felt even while living in the crowd,

is reflected from within.

The voice returns after hitting every wall,

And every silence has some secret.

Sometimes the breaths hide in the books,

Sometimes the thirst looks out of the window.

There was someone of ours, who is no more,

Or maybe he never was.

Still his presence is felt everywhere,

And loneliness, just repeats his name.

But in this silence, one finds one's own voice,

A new beginning to understand oneself.

Loneliness is not a fear, it is an opportunity,

Where the soul communicates with itself.
