The signs of my despair
Visualizing sadness from expressions

When my eyes bend down,
I am sobbing without a sound.
My heart doesn’t pump fresh blood anymore,
It grows heavy as I touch my core.
Now, I just wish for a minute of deep, peaceful snore,
Because I’ve been all torn.
At moments, my eyes get watery,
My nose turns blurry,
My head forms wrinkles of worry.
Can’t you utter the word, sorry?
Don’t tell me it’s not clear enough,
Don’t tell me you can’t see— is it really that tough?
Don’t tell me, mama, a child who can’t hide a lie
Has hidden the signs of his despair and his wish to die.
Can’t you see it, or are you telling a lie?
I can read myself once I stand before the mirror.
I see every mark that proves the signs of despair.
Are you neglecting me, or do you wish me to disappear?
My expressions are crystal clear—
Try to visualize these signs of despair,
Help that person… he’s right here, so near.
