Living your own life

There is a lesson that I have learned, and would like to share it with you.

It`s that no one has the same foot size, so don't lend out your shoe.

However, there will be people tell you that your shoe they could wear,

but of these kinds of people, I hope you will beware.

These shoe`s that I am speaking of, they`re not the literal kind.

They are the kind that only you alone can wear, as you will have to find.

There have been people fooled, they actually gave up their pair.

What happened to these poor fools? Flat they fell on their derriere.

But what about the person that forced his foot into another's pair?

He found the fit so painful; he couldn't get out of his chair!

So never give up your shoes, without them you will fall.

Instead, you must keep them on, then you will walk straight and tall.

And as for those who never seem to have a pair of their own?

They do have their own shoes to wear, if only they would leave others alone.
