The Serpents Sonnet

Lucifer's hell on earth

By Phoenix RosePublished 5 years ago 1 min read
A fallen angel

I can't stand the lies I tell (1)

As I break through the sky (2 )

A fallen angel (3)

While I fall to hell (4)

Destined to fail (5 )

Ill make this place my home (6)

All the mistakes and sins I hold (7)

Will make towers and flowers ;for the gods I call home (8)

As life tries to erase me and chains me (9)

I will find myself true and always blue (10)

But never alone (11)

And always close to home (12)

As I walk the earth (13)

And speak to the universe (14)

All the gods and countries at war (15)

Peace is dreamed by me (16)

And God takes and leaves (17)

I hope it sees the final disease (18)

Is the lack of trust in all of us (19)

For Jesus walked this earth as one of us (20)

To feel lust and mistrust (21)

So I will fly away In my kingdoms escape (22)

A dream of fun in my new life's run (23)

And sin away the days of saints (24)

And please no czar of the sky (25)

For my pleasure is a hell of beautiful tales (26)

Of hunting gold a serpents delight to shine so bright (27)

Yet fall so far to bask in shade (28)

Yet fame pervades (29)

And spirits like me never see the grace of god oh blessed be (30)

All the likes minds will fly away to save a world from the pain of the ones who remain (31)

About the Creator

Phoenix Rose

to be or not to be, is a question indeed. To thyself be true. And, like the water cuts through a ridge. A tundra of snow like emotions.

We dance along the ocean.

Forgetting not who or what we are

Grant me the serenity of peace
